The Mehmoods recently moved to Elk Grove after they fell in love with Nothing Bundt Cakes in San Diego. If you haven't heard of Nothing Bundt Cakes, you're missing out. I first discovered the delicious franchise when I lived in Chandler, Arizona. We actually had yummy bundtinis at my Arizona baby shower. (proof in the photo to the right) Bundt cakes are the perfect accessory to any party, but you definitely don't need a special occasion to eat them! Six months after opening their new business, Ibrahim Mehood was born. If his dad is called the Cake King or the Cake Boss, what does that make him? I call him the cutest bundtlet ever!
He was baked to perfection on April 24th and I got to meet him when he was 13 days new. For his photo shoot his mommy bought a sweet basket, soft blanket and adorable knit cocoon with a matching hat. His Daddy went in the opposite direction and wanted photos with his favorite team helmet and football. The funny part was Ibrahim actually seemed quite content in the helmet, but kept waking up and wiggling in the basket. I guess he's a Saints fan too!
One thing is for sure, the little guy is loved! On his one month birthday I got to photograph a family event in his honor. So many family members showed up to meet him, some from as far as the East Coast! It was an amazing display of love and affection and I was honored to be a part of it. Aside from a cake and bundtinis, there was a ton of food and fun! It was great to all the generations together under one roof.
